Are there medical facilities on Koh Samet?

Basic medical services are available, including Samet Pharmacy which stays open until 9pm daily. For serious medical issues, you would need to take the ferry back to the mainland where Rayong has proper hospitals. I always travel with travel insurance and basic medications since medical facilities on the island are quite limited compared to Bangkok.
